Mr. Vernon Jackson is an icon when it comes to the evolution of Education in the Cayman Islands, being one of the first Caymanian trained teachers, he dedicated much of his life improving and developing our education system (in the early years) and encouraging many young Caymanians to further their studies whilst pioneering many new concepts. From education to a new currency, we owe much of our successes of the day to this stalwart Gentleman.
Mr. Vernon shares his early years with Ellio Solomon, host of Vision, on living in BT and what life was like from the 1930s onward.
