Pearline McGaw-Lumsden is a woman of many hats. Born and raised for the first part of her life in the district of West Bay to a illiterate Caymanian mother and a Jamaican father, her parent never married. Although Pearlina's mother could not read or write, she never the less let that stop her from raising extraordinary children, who would prove the system wrong in "you do not have to take what life gives you," rather take it and make it propel you to the top. Pearlina is a true example of "this is my life but it does not have to be me". An extraordinary Caymanian woman. Pearlina's journey in Life is one of hope and inspiration for us all.
