Vision - Paul de Freitas "Feeding the young"
'Feeding the people' - Mr. Paul de Freitas came to the shores of Cayman in 1983 during a regatta race from 'Port Royal' in Jamaica to 'George Town' Grand Cayman and ironically, the first face he would see, happened to be a good buddy of his who he had known as a young boy growing up in British Guiana. Thus setting a course for the Cayman Islands ever since.
Paul shares the early years of Grand Cayman, from setting up the first computer company here in the Cayman Islands, to helping with the growth of the Cayman Drama Society capabilities at the Prospect Playhouse, to working stringently with the Kiwianis Club - one of the biggest contributors to helping feed meals to hungry kids in the schools.
Paul Leaves us with a bit of advice (from his very own personal experience) for the young and old. Mr. de Freitas: a humble man with an extremely big heart for the Cayman Islands.
