THE CRUISE PORT HAS A NEW FACE AND IT IS James Eldon Whittaker Jnr. - an extraordinary young man who has accomplished many, many wonderful and exiting things in life. James talks with Ellio Solomon about his early career in finance at CIMA and in New York to traveling all over designing Green homes fit for all environments, but it does not end there.
Put on hold for decades with many controversial opinions; has been the Cayman Islands Cruise Berthing facility. Volleyed back and forth between, Governments, Private and Business Sectors and the Public at large. Yet again this young man took the ball in hand, with his head to the grinding wheel James charted his course along with his Company, taking all scrapped projects they hashed them out one by one, researching and redesigning a new Cruise Port terminal, a long awaited facility with revenue enhancements for the country.
AND when you think that is it, James once again has taken the ball even further redesigning an amazing plan for the entire Capital of George Town.
For those who think that this young man having accomplished so much at such a young age has spent his life without bumps and bruises along the way, think again James has been through many challenges, one of which was losing his young wife to breast cancer three years ago, which left James all alone to raise two small, adorable little girls on his own.
