After the recent announcement on an arrest of a young male alleged to have molested several young children who attend a Primary School on the Island of Grand Cayman, the issue of sex offenders take the fore.
The discussion of what is the appropriate action for sex offenders in the Cayman context ensues, are sentences long enough, should there be a register where perpetrators are listed for the community at large to be able to identify such persons or would the implementation of a publicly accessible register prevent such persons from being able to be rehabilitated.
