Anthony Travers or Tony arrived on the shores of the Cayman Islands at a very young age in the mid 1970s. Intending to stay for a short two years, Tony soon found that was not to be. With a rapidly growing financial sector needing new infrastructure to facilitate top quality clients, Tony worked with the best assisting to build what is now known today, as the 5th largest financial sector in the world. He has played many crucial roles in the financial sector and is still as dedicated today as he was 40 plus years ago. As one of the original founding members he spends most of his time traveling advocating and defending Cayman's financial Sector (see "bloomberg Inside look - Governments target Tax Havens" under banking and finance category), a place that he truly believes must be shielded from the negative nay sayers. Tony carries the true Caymanian spirit with him always. This is his love, his home and his life and 'it is worth fighting for'.
