- New Years day new revision of the gambling laws became effective on cruise ships and for raffles being staged for non-profit organization i.e. churches, sports teams, community service clubs.
- Businesses will be fined for breaching law ( Liquor Licensing law).
- DCR Staff Recognized Evalee McField, Sonia Wallace, Marvo Colander, Judy Mobly, Maxine Anglin, Melissa Rivers and Michelle Spence. Mr. Eric Bush was on hand to present the awards.
