MRCU A new way to fight Dengue

This story recently won a CBU (Caribbean Broadcast Union) Award this past year.
I produced this story at GIS (Government Information Services) in the Cayman Islands with the Mosquito Research and Control Unit to highlight their latest program to fight dengue. They work with a company out of the UK called Oxitec to create sterile male mosquitoes which mate with female mosquitoes to produce no offspring and reduce the number of mosquitoes that can transmit dengue.
It was really interesting to watch this story take off globally as news organizations picked it up and added their own slant and views.
