How should we vote?
ELLIO SOLOMON·MONDAY, MARCH 20, 2017
The true power that the voters have insofar as voting in an election is to select and influence in the selection of the candidate for and from his or her respective area, anything else is outside of his or her sphere of influence i.e the final make up of the Government.
Out of whatever persons are elected from the 19 constituencies, 10 of them will come together to form a Government its a mathematical, political and historical certainty..in fact there is only one way arguably that this will not occur and that is in the event that the majority of voters have all voted Party and neither one of the Parties are able to get a majority, because Political Parties are the only ones who have the audacity to tell the voting public that they are unwilling to work for the people with anyone outside of their particular group..especially those from the opposing Party (This is why there was a need to increase the membership in the Legislative Assembly in order to avoid such a scenario).
So here is the question, How can such a disrespectful and audacious position taken by political parties and so called parties be good for the Country? Would you accept that same position from your Doctor if he told you he will not work to help you or your child if he has to work with a Doctor outside his little group in order to do it....or would you prefer a professional Doctor who is willing to work along with any other Doctor in order to save your child?
For clarity...CDP is not a Party but is has the word Party in the name..PPM is a Party and doesnt have the word Party in the name.
I encourage everyone to lets love our country and our children enough to vote for the best man or woman for the job regardless of how they are running.
