Heart Talk with Steve McField "Cayman Roads" - Part 10

The Cayman Islands roads were not always the smooth ride that they are today. When the first Cars came to the Island the old donkey and horse trails were used. Two cars on the road were considered a traffic Jam, one had to reverse for the other to pass. Cars were considered a luxury back in the 50s and it was not the "one car per one person" as we have today.

Building roads was an exiting time in the Cayman Islands as the population and financial incomes grew to facilitate a car in the Caymanian household.
