Grouper Moon 2014 Spawning Night
This montage of video was shot over one day at the Nassau Grouper spawning aggregation site on Little Cayman, 3 days after full moon. The day culminated in one of the biggest spawning nights we've seen in the history the REEF Grouper Moon Project! Keep an eye out for Scripps Institution of Oceanography scientists collecting eggs for research on fertilization rates, and a toothy visitor at the end of the night.
