Anita and Jon's Cayman Islands Destination Wedding Trailer Produced by Suburban Video

Grand Cayman Island is unique enough to be exotic, but with English as it's official language we found it comfortable enough to allow anyone to explore everything it has to offer. This balance made The Westin Hotel, Grand Cayman Island, the perfect venue for Anita and Jon's wedding. This playful couple was a film makers dream with the ocean and palm trees serving as an unbelievable backdrop. The trailer we're sharing today showcases their fun spirits and the natural beauty of the island. The Westin provided them numerous places in and around the hotel to meet their every need. We were also privileged to work with wedding photographer extraordinaire, Rebecca Davidson. Not only was she a delight to work with, but her gorgeous images are true pieces of art that shows the island's unique beauty and the couple's personality.

The Mehndi took place in the Westin's breakfast area which was just large enough to give everyone room to relax while being small enough to feel intimate during this very special ceremony. The Tiki Bar outside was the perfect place for both families to celebrate the night before the wedding and enjoy a bonfire on the beach.

The Westin's beach front is breathtakingly perfect for the wedding ceremony and celebration. The bright colors of the azure sky and gorgeous blue water against the white beach is simply stunning. Later the vibrant sunset melded perfectly with the colors and pageantry of this South Asian Wedding. Bill Bowen was our principal cinematographer with Chris Lucarelli as our 2nd cameraman and creative editor. They really outdid themselves.

Grand Cayman Island has quickly become one of our favorite destination sites - everyone is very friendly and accommodating and there is so much to do on the island. The turtle farm is a must see, as well as a drive to Queen Elizabeth's Botanic Park. The gardens are unbelievable and you learn a lot about the English settlers' life on the island. Next to the gardens is the Blue Iguana sanctuary. The island's native iguanas are threatened. We've seen a lot of different iguanas through our travels, but this one is truly unique. It looks like a smurf colored iguana on steroids and are fascinating to watch. We also ran into thousands of red crabs while driving past Bodontown on the way to the gardens. Check out our earlier tweets to see pictures of these exotic creatures.

Of course, the thing the island is best known for is the diving. With several wrecks close to the shore, this is a diver's paradise. There are also several snorkeling sites, but it doesn't compare to the diving. The best snorkeling is to be found in front of the Marriott Hotel on Seven Mile Beach. There are also many gorgeous private and public beaches, each one unique and offering something different.

The other impressive experience is the number of 5 star restaurants throughout the island. Almost every imaginable cuisine is offered as well as the best Caribbean cuisine we've ever sampled - it was all memorable. And if you get hungry for a taste of Americana, the best burger can be found at the Sunshine Suite across the street from the Westin. A little poolside eatery that all the island residents know about.

I hope you enjoy this small taste of Grand Cayman Island and enjoy Anita and Jon's film as much as we enjoyed making it. Whether you have an exotic locale for your wedding or are getting married across the street - we'd love to talk to you about creating a treasured keepsake that you can enjoy for generations.
